House painting

As many of you know we took the siding off of our house last year to reveal a nice brick house underneath. Unfortunately, when we removed the siding we found that everywhere they nailed the siding they blew out the bricks. We then had to replace all the bricks that had been damaged...over 500 of them. The house was affectionately nicknamed "The Lego House" by everyone on our block....all ugliness aside, everyone was happy to see the siding removed and the original brick exposed. Keep in mind our house was built in 1905! Well this was a year ago and we finally are getting around to painting the house.Jake and I agreed on a nice gray color with a bright white trim and our painter has started this week. I wanted to share with you the "BEFORE" photos before revealing the final product.
