Camping

We took Abby camping this weekend to Buffalo Creek. She had a great time hiking, playing in the stream, and running around with the other kids at the campground. On our nature hike she found a snake with dad! She seemed to have the most fun washing the dirty dishes...who knows? It was hard for her to leave. She really wanted to stay and spend more time in the tent. I guess we will be going again soon.

Fountain

Today Abby met some of her friends from school to play at a local fountain and have a picnic. At first she was a little unsure about the sprays of water shooting up. After awhile, she was running through them and sitting on the fountains waiting for the water to come up. It was a nice way to spend a hot morning.

Belly Pic

Here is the baby belly...24+ weeks along. So far everything is looking great and we should be expecting a new Baby Bachmann around November 11th. Abby is excited about being a big sister and thinks that the baby will be a girl. We shall see!?!?!

Vegetable Garden

Our hobby this summer was to grow some vegetables. Abby and I planted tomatoes, green peppers, squash, zucchini, and some strawberries. So far everything is doing quite well. Abby picked her first zucchini and we made zucchini bread. I am excited to see how the rest of the garden turns out.

Maine Trip

We had a blast in Maine over the 4th of July weekend. It was great to get the cousins together and to visit with Brian and Meg. Abby had a great time swimming in the pool with Alex and playing on the beach.
